'Dale.Bambrick@noaa.gov' Doyle, Daniel; Logan, Dennis; Mcdowell, Bruce K Columbia Generating Station License Renewal Environmental Rýview Site Audit

Dale, Thank you for talking with me today. You mentioned that you would find someone on your staff to join us on Tuesday or Wednesday, June 8-9, 2010. Their attendance would certainly help in defining the path forward on consultation for ESA and EFH. Dr. Dennis Logan, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, is the lead for aquatic resources on this EIS. Dennis and I would appreciate the opportunity to talk with your staff about the scope of the project, the water and aquatic resources, as well as cumulative issues in the vicinity of Columbia Generating Station.

Attached is the overall schedule for site audit. There is a general site tour planned for Tuesday morning and another tour focusing on terrestrial and aquatic resources on Wednesday morning (called "Terrestrial Tour include Aq. Bio. (from land)"). Both of these I

tours would include the pump house, where the intake and discharge structures can be viewed from the shoreline. In addition, there is a break out session on Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:45 PM to discuss aquatic resources with Energy Northwest's biologist. Any or all of these sessions would be open for your staff to join us.

I The location for the site audit is at Columbia Generation Station. At this time, I believe the meetings will Kootenai Building or the Industrial Development Complex at the station. I will find out and send you mor the station is at: http://www.energy-northwest.com/CGS.html Could you please send the full name of ti to provide that to Energy Northwest for security to have on hand and allow the staff member to enter thi Thank you!
