Columbia Generating Station License Renewal Application Review Mr. Graves, Thank you for talking with me this afternoon. I called about assistance for review of potential impacts to slalmonids listed under the Endangered Species Act as part of the license renewal for the Columbia Generating Station (CGS). CGS is located on the Columbia River near Richland, WA. There will be an audit and tour of the site the week of June 7th at the Columbia Generating Station's facilities, and I would like to know if there is someone that could join us and discuss the requirements for completing ESA consultations, and potentially consultation with the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act.
Attached is a letter sent to Mr. Barry Thom, Regional Administrator. The letter describes the project. I am working for Mr. Bo Pham, Mr. Daniel Doyle and Dr. Dennis Logan, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, in the effort to prepare the environmental impact statement for the license renewal. We have not heard back from Mr. Thom as to who might have been assigned to work with us. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide in identifying a point of contact(s) for this activity.
