Fermi 2 - Request for Additional Information DTE Electric Company's 2013 Decommissioning Status Report (DFS) MF1237 The requests for additional information provided are in response to the DTE Electric Company's (DTE, the licensee) 2013 Decommissioning Funding Status (DFS) Report. On March 28, 2013, DTE, submitted to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) the 2013 DFS Report for Fermi Atomic Power Plant, Unit 2 (Fermi 2) as required under Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR)

Part 50, Section 50.75(f)(1) (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No.ML13088A034). In order to complete its review, the NRC staff requests the following additional information: .

'RAJ #1: Amounts accumulated Indicate if the amounts of decommissionin'g funds identified within the DFS report are the after-tax amount of funds accumulated through December 31,2012. If not, provide the after-tax amounts of decommissioning funds accumulated through December 31, 2012, for Fermi 2. In its March 28, 2013, repprt, DTE provided the amount of decommissioning funds accumulated at the end of the calendar year preceding the date of the report for items included in 10 CFR 50.75(b) and (c), but did not indicate if the amount stated was the before or after-tax balance. The provisions of 10 CFR 50. 75(f)( 1) and (2) require the licensee to report the amount of funds accumulated to the end of the calendar year preceding the report.
