Dear Sir or Madam:
On March 12, 2012, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Reference 1 to all power reactor licensees. Enclosure 3 of Reference 1 contains specific requested actions, requested information, and required responses associated with Recommendation 2.3 for seismic walkdowns. Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc (Entergy) provided the Seismic Walkdown Report for Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station (PNPS) in Reference 2. In that submittal Entergy committed to perform walkdowns for equipment that could not be inspected while at power which were identified in Section 6.3 of the Seismic Walkdown Report. An updated Seismic Walkdown Report was to be submitted in August 2013 to reflect that walkdown. The updated Seismic Walkdown Report is enclosed.
This letter contains no new regulatory commitments.
