OF CONFERENCE CALL HELD ON AUGUST 13,2103, BETWEEN THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION AND ENTERGY NUCLEAR OPERATIONS, INC., CONCERNING REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION RESPONSES ON CATHODIC PROTECTION --INDIAN POINT NUCLEAR GENERATING UNIT NOS. 2 AND 3 The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or the staff) and representatives of Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc., held a telephone conference call on August 13, 2013, to obtain clarification on the applicant's July 24, 2013, response to the staff's request for additional information (RAI) related to cathodic protection. The telephone conference call was useful in ensuring that the staff understands the applicant's response to the RAI. As a result of the telephone call, the staff determined that it will need to issue a follow-up RAI.
