CLARIFICATION OF DEADLINE FOR REQUESTING HEARING ON THE DENIAL OF LICENSE TRANSFER OF AEROTEST RADIOGRAPHY AND RESEARCH REACTOR, FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NO. R-98
Dear Dr. Slaughter:
On July 24, 2013, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued a letter (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML13134A390) denying your application for transfer of the Aerotest Radiography and Research Reactor license. The letter was dated July 15, 2013, and said that you had the right to request a hearing within 20 days of the date of the letter. The letter should have said that you could request a hearing within 20 days of the date the letter was issued. Consequently, I am sending you this letter to clarify that August 13, 2013, is the deadline for requesting a hearing.
