Notification of Implementation of License Renewal Activities in Preparation for Entrance into Period of Extended Operation for Unit 2 Pursuant to Operating License Conditions 2.C(10)(a), 2.C(10)(b), 2.C(10)(c) and 2.C(10)(d), the following activities are implemented at PBAPS for Unit 2:
Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) Revision (2.C(10)(a)) - The license renewal supplement was added to Revision 20 of the UFSAR as Appendix Q and submitted to the NRC in the routine UFSAR update in 2005.
Future Inspection Activities (2.C(10)(b)) - The future inspection activities involving license renewal activities identified in UFSAR Appendix Q have been completed. Documentation involving these activities is available for NRC inspection.
Reactor Vessel Inteqrated Surveillance Proqram (2.C(10)(c)) -
The reactor vessel integrated surveillance program was implemented using an NRC-approved Boiling Water Reactor Vessel and Internals Program (BWRVIP) document (BWRVIP-86 Rev.1 -A). UFSAR Appendix Q.1.12 has been revised to reflect implementation of this program.
.Cre Shroud Inspection and Evaluation Guidelines Program (2.C(10)(d)) -
The core shroud inspection and evaluation guidelines program was implemented using an NRC-approved Boiling Water Reactor Vessel and Internals Program document (BWRVIP-76). UFSAR Appendix Q.1.12 reflects implementation of this program There are no new regulatory commitments contained in this transmittal.
