On June 7, 2013, the NRC issued Regulatory Issue Summary 2013-06, Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examinations, which requests the voluntary submittal of information regarding future licensing examinations for operators. In response to that request, Duke Energy Progress, Inc., formerly known as Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L), is submitting the proposed operator licensing examination schedule for calendar years 2015 through 2018, for the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant (BSEP), Unit Nos. 1 and 2. Also included are estimates of applicants planning to take the Generic Fundamentals Examination in calendar years 2015 and 2016. The information is provided on the enclosed NRC Form 536.
