Letter from TVA to NRC, "Response to NRC Regulatory Issue Summary 2012-07, Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examinations," dated July 11, 2012 Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) 2013-06 (Reference 1) requested specific information regarding the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant's (SQN) projected operator licensing examination schedules and the estimated number of applicants.
The enclosure to this letter addresses the NRC's request and provides an estimate of the examination requirements for SQN on NRC Form 536, "Operator Licensing Examination Data." SQN has no initial operator license examination planned for calendar year 2014.
The information provided in this enclosure updates the information previously provided in Reference 2.
