RE: Question regarding FWS's 7/3/13 letter on species affected by Sequoyah Nuclear Plant license renewal

Briana, Thank you for the inquiry concerning the white fringeless orchid. It appears that I did inadvertently leave it off the list in our 7/3/2013 concurrence letter. The Service also concurs that the white fringeless orchid may occur in the vicinity of the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant.

If you need anything else, please let me know.

Thanks, Robbie Sykes Fish and Wildlife Biologist U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service 446 Neal Street Cookeville, TN 38501 (tele. 931/525-4979)

Question regarding FWS's 7/3/13 letter on species affected by Sequoyah Nuclear Plant license renewal Hi Robbie, I have a quick question for you regarding a letter in which you are listed as the contact personyour offices 7/3/13 letter that responds to NRCs request for concurrence on our list of species that could be affected by Sequoyah Nuclear Plant license renewal (click here to view the letter online).

The NRC included the white fringeless orchid in its letter dated 3/20/13 (click here), but this species was not included in your 7/3 letter. Should the NRC still consider this species to potentially occur within the action area?

I wanted to check because I noticed that this species was the only species that was not included in your letter, and it may be possible that you inadvertently left it out of the list of species in your letter.

Thanks for your time!

Briana
