Any Yes answer requires a CR to be initiated General Appearance: A portion of the 8-inch City Water line (# 1502) return to EDGs was excavated and visually inspected. The portion inspected was at least 10ft. of the straight section of the pipe. The entire inspected length of piping had no signs of coating degradation. The coating was observed to be intact. with no voids in the coating. or blistering. peeling. flaking. separation. etc. Further the coating was solid to the touch (no soft spots air pockets). However there were orange stains observed on several locations on the exterior. Note that a 4' section of this pipe was previously inspected in August 2012. some coating was

The UT verified acceptable pipe thickness.
