NRC resident inspectors completed the TI-1 83 inspection in April 2011, and identified that I the current licensed configuration for the torus vent is a hardened pipe from the torus to the I suction of the standby gas treatment system, which is located outside the reactor building in I a ground level adjacent building. The NRC determined in a safety evaluation dated September 28, 1992, that this configuration met the intent of the Boiling Water Reactor Owner's Group design criteria for a hardened vent.
