PUBLIC MEETING/OPEN HOUSE TO DISCUSS NRC ACTIVITIES, NUCLEAR POWER ISSUES, AND 2012 END-OF-CYCLE PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF DAVIS-BESSE NUCLEAR POWER STATION
Dear Mr. Lieb:
This letter is to inform you that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will conduct a Category 3 public meeting/open house at 6:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at the Carroll Township Service Complex in Oak Harbor, OH. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an open public forum for the Agency to discuss NRC activities and nuclear power issues with the public including discussion of activities related to the upcoming steam generator replacement. In addition, members of the NRC will be available to discuss the assessment of Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station performance. FirstEnergy is encouraged to attend this meeting/open house.
