Dear Commissioners and Staff:
As required by 10 CFR 50.54(p), Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) hereby submits Revision 8 of the Diablo Canyon Power Plant (DCPP) Physical Security Plan (PSP), with the following appendices:
Appendix B: Training & Qualification Plan Appendix C: Safeguards Contingency Plan PG&E determined that changes made to the PSP and appendices do not decrease their safeguards effectiveness. Enclosure 1 contains a Table of Changes to DCPP's PSP and appendices, and a Critical Task Matrix. Enclosure 2 is Revision 8 of DCPP's PSP with appendices. Enclosure 2 contains safeguards information, which must be withheld from public disclosure under 10 CFR 73.21, "Protection of Safeguards Information: Performance Requirements."
PG&E makes no regulatory commitments (as defined by NEI 99-04) in this letter.
