REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ON LICENSE TERMINATION PLAN FOR THE HUMBOLDT BAY POWER PLANT, UNIT 3 (TAC NO. J00485)
By letter dated May 3, 2013, Pacific Gas and Electric Company submitted a request for approval of a License Amendment to add a License Condition that approves the License Termination Plan (LTP) and adds a license condition that establishes the criteria for determining when changes to the LTP require prior NRC approval. Please review this request and provide a safety evaluation of the proposal. Karen Pinkston has reviewed several 10 CFR 20.2002 requests from this licensee and is familiar with the site and I request that the review be assigned to her if she is available. An electronic copy of the submittal will be provided to the reviewer on request.
