Regarding the removal of the graffiti on the RV Head: (1) Was there a chemical analysis of the marking material, and if not, why not? (2) Was there an engineering evaluation of the condition of the RV Head after the removal of the graffiti, and if not, why not?
- 2.
Regarding the RV stud hole sleeving: Was there a surface examination of the machined surface of the stud hole once the initial threads were removed prior to re-threading, and if not, why not?
- 3.
Regarding the UT issue on S/G 2: (1) The original UT results were compared to Specification 84350LF.
How does this compare with ASTM 578? Can the NRC see this spec. (2) Has there been an assessment as to the cause of the differences between the condition of S/G 2 and the other S/Gs that had no apparent mid-wall reflections.
