RE: Peer Review of SE Input for Vermont Yankee Core Plate Bolt Analysis (ME6248)

-Question on BFN CP bolts analysis Thanks Pani, let me know if I can help with the integration. I am not the reviewer for BFN, I think it may be Ganesh or Pat Purtscher in my branch.

RE: Peer Review of SE Input for Vermont Yankee Core Plate Bolt Analysis (ME6248) -Question on BFN CP bolts analysis Thanks Jeff. I will integrate my structural portions of the input into the Vermont Yankee SE. Are you alsoinvolved in Browns Ferry 1-2-3 Core plate holddown bolts analysis? Billy Jessup will be doing the structural portion for BFN 1-2-3.

Pani, I made some more changes to the input based on peer review - use the attached version rather than the previous version.

Pani, attached is my input to the SE for the areas that I reviewed - specifically, the determination of the amount of preload loss and the adequacy of the proposed inspection plan. Ganesh peer reviewed for me, see email below.

I'm not sure how you structured your SE, so feel free to move things around and cut and paste my sections as needed. We probably should meet to discuss. I'll be in the office tomorrow and Thursday.

Ganesh, As discussed yesterday, please peer review (technical only) my SE input for Vermont Yankee. Use TAC ME6248. Note that it is not a complete SE because Pani has the lead on the SE. He can integrate my inputs into the structure of his SE.

If you can give me comments by the end of the week that would be fine.

Pat, I copied you so if you have time to review your comments would also be appreciated.

Thanks, Jeff 7
