This letter confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. Barry Garber of your staff and Ronald Cureton of this office on April 15, 2013 concerning a Category 3 public meeting which has been scheduled for May 23, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (EDT). The meeting notice, which provides additional details, is enclosed. The purpose of the meeting is to provide an open public forum to discuss the annual assessment of Surry Power Station Units 1 and 2.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's Agency-wide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS).
