2013 Initial license Examination Post Examination The Braidwood Station 2013 Operator Initial licensing Examination was administered on April 5, 2013. In accordance with NUREG-1 021, "Operator Licensing Examination Standards for Power Reactors," Revision 9, Supplement 1, Section ES-402, "Administering Initial Written Examinations," the facility licensee should submit formal comments within five working days after the examination is administered. The purpose of this letter is to notify the NRC that Braidwood Station does not challenge the test results and has no post examination comments.

The below examination related material will be separately delivered to Region III. Please withhold the written examination and associated documents from public disclosure for two years.

• One form ES-403-1 Written Examination Grading Quality Checklist

• Student seating chart

• Four (4) forms ES-401-7 site-specific Reactor Operator (RO) written examination cover sheets

• Four (4) RO exam machine graded original answer forms and clean photocopies of applicant answer sheets

• Nine (9) forms ES-401-8 site-specific Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) written examination cover sheets

• Nine (9) SRO exam machine graded original answer forms and clean photocopies of applicant answer sheets

• Candidate questions during written exam administration and proctor responses

• Question analysis for questions with ~ 67% pass rate (Note: this is the Braidwood/Exelon threshold and encompasses all questions that meet the NRC threshold of ~ 50% pass rate)

• Exam Material Package Consisting of the Following:

o Clean copy of exam (100 questions) student version o Clean copy of detailed exam key o Scantron grading keys for RO and SRO exam used in grading
