Question & Answer (Q&A) Session: 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Multipurpose Room Brattleboro Middle School)
Location: Brattleboro Union High School 131 Fairground Road Brattleboro, VT 05301
Purpose:
The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will host an open house and Q&A session to discuss the NRCs assessment of safety performance at Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station for 2012, as described in the NRC annual assessment letter dated March 4, 2013.
The NRC will be available to respond to questions on specific performance issues at the plant and our role in ensuring safe plant operations.
NRC Attendees: C. Miller, Director, Division of Reactor Safety R. Bellamy, Ph.D., Chief, Division of Reactor Projects, Branch 5 S. Rutenkroger, Senior Resident Inspector S. Rich, Resident Inspector J. DeBoer, Project Engineer Public Participation: This is a Category 3 Meeting. The NRC staff will host an open house to discuss Entergys performance at Vermont Yankee during calendar year 2012. Following the open house, the NRC will host a Q&A session during which members of the public will be able to ask questions regarding our role in ensuring safe plant operation.
