On behalf of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), I am responding to the letter you wrote on behalf of the Town of Plymouth Board of Selectmen, dated March 15, 2013.
Specifically, you requested that the NRC publicly brief the Plymouth Board of Selectmen regarding the licensing and oversight processes associated with an Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI).
I am pleased to accept your invitation to have my staff brief the board. I understand that my staff has been in contact with you to arrange the logistics of the meeting, currently scheduled for the evening of April 2, 2013. In addition to the topics you mentioned in your letter, we would like to brief the Board of Selectmen on the NRCs assessment of Pilgrims performance over the past year.
