Callaway Plant On March 12, 2012, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued the letter identified above as Reference 1 to Union Electric Company (dba Ameren Missouri) for Callaway Plant. PO Box 620 Fulton, MO 65251 AmerenMissouri.com ULNRC-05967 March 8, 2013 Page 2 of4 Enclosure 2 of Reference 1 contains specific Requested Actions, Requested Information, and Required Responses associated with Near-Term Task Force Recommendation 2.1, Flooding.

This letter provides Ameren Missouri's Flooding Hazard Reevaluation Report for Callaway Plant. Recommendation 2.1, Flooding, Enclosure 2, Required Response item 2 of Reference 1, requires that, in accordance with the NRC's prioritization plan, Ameren Missouri submit the Hazard Reevaluation Report, including the interim action plan required in Item 1.d, if appropriate.

On May 11, 2012, the NRC issued the prioritization plan of response due dates regarding flooding hazard reevaluations (Reference 2). Enclosure 1 of that letter prioritized Callaway Plant as a Category 1 Site. Category 1 Sites are required to submit the Flooding Hazard Reevaluation Report by March 12, 2013. The enclosure to this letter provides Ameren Missouri's Flooding Hazard Reevaluation Report for Callaway Plant. This letter does not contain new commitments.
