TI 183 question
- Fred, Sorry for the quick turnaround request on this one, but my staff is asking about venting relative to the Mark I containments and how to characterize some findings in the TI reports that have recently come in from the sites. Containment venting issues came up in some of the followup of the questions. We would like to be able to characterize the issues in a statement similar to the following:"The NRC will be reviewing hydrogen mitigation issues as part of the post Fukushima Near Term Task Force effort." or some such wording. Is there something like this we can put into the reports that have venting issues?
We would need something on this by tomorrow if possible, so as not to leave the issues hanging without an obvious strategy for agency followup.
