Evacuation Time Estimate Report for Cooper Nuclear Station Cooper Nuclear Station, Docket No. 50-289, DPR-46

Dear Sir or Madam:

This correspondence is submitted in accordance with 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix E, Section IV.4, which requires licensees to submit an Evacuation Time Estimates (ETE) analysis using decennial census data from the U.S. Census Bureau, within 365 days of the later of the date of availability of the census data or December 23, 2011. The enclosed CD contains Nebraska Public Power District's ETE analysis for Cooper Nuclear Station submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 50.4.The ETE was developed in accordance with the Federal guidance in NUREG/CR-7002 (SAND2010-0016P), "Criteria for Development of Evacuation Time Estimate Studies," published November 2011. The enclosed ETE provides the methods used to derive, for planning purposes, the time for public evacuation.
