Piping at tile installed sadd le (west) end of the excavation was relatively clean of soil adhering to the 00 of the pipe, without requiring much cleaning. The east end o/' the piping required use of a waler spray bOll Ie to wet and clean off the ha.'dened red clay-li ke soil adhering to the pipe 00 to get to the pipe exterior. 111e pipe was coated with a painted on protc<.:tive coating, which was observed to be in very good conuition with no signs of discontinuities, peeling, separa tion, blistering, Iiaking, etc.

Section of line on the south side of dIe MainLenance Training Facility (MTF) ~xcavated as part of installaLion of a I-inch Lic-in to supp ly water to lhe MTF. (Ref. EC 133 14). Approx. 8 fOOl lcngth of piping was inspected. Section incluued a bell & spigOt pipingjoint. and new sadd le for a I-inch branch supply to the MTF. Pipe in VelY good condition. no deficiencies noted.
