To: Allison McFarlane Chair McFarlane and Honorable Commissioners, Thank you for your efforts in examining the safety levels of Diablo Nuclear Plant and the subterranean geologic formations around it. Now that you have determined that the newly discovered Shoreline Fault poses no threat to the power plant, I respectfully urge you to cancel the seismic testing proposed for the Central Coast of California.

There is not much to be gained by such tests, and our Marine Protected Areas, ocean based economy and marine life are all just too precious to lose.

I am saddened by the prospect of such an extreme assault on our beautiful and vibrant coastline. I am amazed that they have the potential to destroy our sea life and give us the $64 Million dollar price tag to pay.

Have we nothing if we haven't our voices heard?

Seismic testing is not the way I want my money spent. On clean, renewable energy that is friendly to fellow creatures, not tortures and kills them!

Sincerely, Jennifer Randall (620) 899 4060 1
