Want to be able to evaluate operator perform some type of assessment and/or evaluation of data, identify problem, then address appropriate Tech Spec, make notification or the like. The evolution must have significant consequence or safety significance.

• Sysb NRC: 2009 exam had RCIC Start With Initiation Signal Present, is this same JPM?

Licensee: No, different task.

• Sysg NRC: We need a discriminating JPM that is not performed during scenarios. Make sure there are sufficient critical safety significant steps that require operator action and significant consequences to not performing those actions correctly.

Licensee: Believe there are sufficient critical steps and significant operator actions.
