Docket, Hearing
Subject:
- Don't Relicence Indian Point---get into the next century not the last!]
Do not re-commission the Indian Point Plant top reasons not to recommission the plant>>>>
It is built on an earthqake fault line!
There is no plan to permanently store the nuclear waste safely.
It is ancient and primitive technologiclly one of the very first in the nation.
There is no evacuation plan that is feasible for the 20 million people who live in the wake of an accident and down wind.
There have already been dangerous leaks planned and mishaps at the plant.
We need to adopt new solutions for the 21st century not rely on primitive ones from the last.
We can replace with renewables and more efficient useage.
It should not be add to the list ; Three Mile Island, Chernobyl, Fukushima.....
NewYork city and our economywould be destroyed if there were a signifcant explosion or melt down.
