Thursday, September 13, 2012 4:12 PM Docket, Hearing Indian Point To the committee, I live in Fort Montgomery NY, just a couple of miles as the eagle flies, from Indian Point. I take the Bear Mountain Bridge every day. Each year an emergency evacuation plan is sent to me. It gives the Bear Mountain Bridge as an emergency evacuation route for people in Westchester and Putnam.
Surly no person would suggest that this two lane bridge could provide a timely means of egress for the people east of the Hudson. Visit the bridge on a fall foliage day or at 7 AM on a school snow day. The bridge is almost impassible Please do not extend the licence Of Indian Point.
Sincerely, Bruce S. Rennie 87 Canterbury Road, Fort Montgomery NY 10922 DOCKETED USNRC September 13, 2012 (4:12 p.m.)
