Wednesday, September 12, 2012 9:24 PM Docket, Hearing Siarnacki, Anne Indian Point 2 and 3 Please do not relicense the 2 nuclear power plants in Bucannan N.Y. They have run for 40 years and are very "dirty" already.
Another 20 years is pushing the equipment past the tipping point.
This is a very populated area and these plants could not be sited where they are using todays standards and populations.
Evacuation would be imposible, and all our properties in the 10 mile zone and beyond would be useless in case of a bad accident.
Also the spent fuel pools must be emptied and the fuel rods stored in casks(only good for 250 years).
