Friday, September 07, 2012 8:28 PM Docket, Hearing please do not relicense Indian Point I feel very strongly that the Indian Point nuclear facility should not be relicensed. The radioactive waste is a monumental threat to the survival of everything in the NYC, Hudson Valley and northern Westchester region. It's inconceivable that a plant would be licensed to operate under these conditions. And there's no way the great majority of people living in the region would be able to get out of the danger area. Just take a look at normal Friday night or Sunday night traffic and then multiply that by the fact that everyone will be trying to get out.
Taking responsibility for continuing Indian Point should be too frightening for any person or organization to handle. It makes 9/11 look like a picnic. Please DO NOT relicense.
