I also sent and attempted withdrawing an earlier e-mail that needed correction. I have not received confirmation that it was recalled from your e-mail. The correct information is below.
We wish to point out an error on page 5 of your June 25, 2012, Safety Evaluation. In section 3.1.5 Mixed-Oxide Fuel (MOX), in the 2nd paragraph, 1st sentence, it is stated BRP "did not use MOX fuel at any time during operation."
BRP did use MOX fuel during its operation. There are irradiated MOX fuel assemblies in storage at the BRP ISFSI. There are no un-irradiated MOX fuel assemblies in storage. Refer to Attachment 1, page 5 of7, item 15, in the BRP requestfor exemption dated November 30,2010.
