DATE & TIME: Wednesday, August 29, 2012 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. EDT LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission One White Flint North 11555 Rockville Pike, Room 0-7B4 Rockville, Maryland PURPOSE: Union Electric Company (the licensee) will meet with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff to discuss its planned submittal of an amendment request for Callaway Plant, Unit 1, for a new Technical Specification to provide operability and surveillance requirements for the Class 1E Electrical Equipment Air Conditioning System.

• This is a Category 1 public meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.

Licensee presentation and discussion on its planned amendment request for a new Technical Specification (TS) to provide operability and surveillance requirements for the Class 1E Electrical Equipment Air Conditioning (AlC) System at Callaway Plant, Unit 1, including a Limiting Condition for Operation (LCO) that provides appropriate Condition(s) and Required Action(s) to follow in the event that either (or both) of the Class 'I E Electrical Equipment AlC trains is declared inoperable.

A presentation will be given to address various aspects of the planned amendment request, including the following:

• Conformance to the TS definition of Operability and provisions of LCO 3.0.6

• The basis and format for new/proposed TS 3.7.20

• Results of supporting room temperature/heat-up analysis
