BROWSE LAU LAU HOME LAU OVERVIEW LAU NEWS RELEASES Effective with the release of metropolitan area data for May 2011, the Local Area Unemployment LAU DATABASES Statistics (LAUS) program is publishing smoothed seasonally adjusted civilian labor force and LAU TABLES & MAPS unemployment estimates for all metropolitan areas and metropolitan divisions. These data will be updated via the downloadable files below shortly after 3:00 p.m. on the day of each Metropolitan LAU DOCUMENTATION Area Employment and Unemployment news release. (See www.bls.gov/lau/lausched.htm for a LAU FAQS schedule of upcoming release dates.) The files contain estimates from January 2000 forward. See CONTACT LAU the Questions and Answers document for more information.
