Now that Jaczko is not the Chairman, is this really going to happen?
On February 27, 2012, Jaczko said, "... important that the Commission make a decision on the topic of filtered vents this summer...
A policy paper from the staff was expected during July 2012.

I note that WPPSS (now Energy Northwest) never voluntarily installed hardened vents at Hanford-2 (now Columbia Generating Station). However, as of May 22, 2012, that Station may now operate until 2042 and it will not voluntarily install hardened vents and filters, although it is a Fukushima-type unit.
