ENDORSEMENT OF NUCLEAR ENERGY INSTITUTE 05-10, SECURITY FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS PROCESS, REVISION 3, DATED JULY 2012
Dear Mr. Kline:
I am responding to your letter dated July 19, 2012 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession Number ML122020094), in which you requested the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff to review and endorse Revision 3 of Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) 05-10, Security Frequently Asked Questions Process, dated July 2012.
Previously, the NRC staff reviewed and provided comments on NEI 05-10, Revision 3, dated April 2010, in a letter dated July 19, 2011 (ADAMS Accession Number ML103560357). The staff has conducted a review of the document and noted that all the NRC comments were incorporated into NEI 05-10, dated July 2012. Since all the NRC comments have been incorporated, the NRC is endorsing NEI 05-10, Revision 3, dated July 2012.
