Byron Station Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, and Safeguards Contingency Plan, Revision 12 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54, "Conditions of licenses," paragraph (p)(2), Exelon Generation Company, LLC (EGC) is submitting Revision 12 to the Byron Station Security Plan. Changes to this document were implemented on July 13, 2012. In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p)(2), EGC is submitting these changes within 60 days of implementation.
The Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, and Safeguards Contingency Plan has been revised to:
- 1. Revised to align with NEI 03-12 Rev 7 Template.
- 2. Incorporated NRC approved SFAQ 12-03, dated April 12, 2012 (10 CFR 2.390),
NRC approved SFAQ 12-04, dated April 24, 2012 (10 CFR 2.390), NRC approved SFAQ 12-05, dated April 12, 2012 (10 CFR 2.390), NRC approved SFAQ 12-06, dated May 2, 2012 (10 CFR 2.390), and NRC approved SFAQ 12-07, dated April 12, 2012 (10 CFR 2.390).
- 3. Removed additional area Secondary Alarm Station.
EGC has concluded that the changes do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the Byron Station Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, and Safeguards Contingency Plan.
Attachments 1 and 2 contain Safeguards Information. Therefore, EGC requests that this information be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390, "Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding," paragraph (d)(1), and 10 CFR 73.22, "Protection of Safeguards Information: Specific Requirements," paragraph (a)(1)(i).
