RE: Seabrook ASR exit Marty, The meeting that happened Friday morning by conference call was just the Region's Exit Meeting for the inspection report for the standalone inspections on the ASR issue conducted during the week of Sep 26, and then in Nov and Dec, 2011. I saw the email about this exit meeting on Friday morning and was on the call.

This is the report that the Region had previously sent a draft and is still in the process of revising, but decided to conduct the exit. The Region is still revising it and we will see the second draft this week. The Region wants to issue this inspection report to the licensee around Feb 6 -10 and wants the TIA issue to be timed the same time as the issue of this inspection report, and possibly attach the TIA response to the inspection report..

The meeting we had talked about Thursday was a Category 1 public meeting, that was previously tentatively scheduled for Jan 19 at NRC HQ and then called off by the Region. At this meeting, the licensee was going to come and explain their latest course of action and positions/white paper they were developing on some of the ASR issues (such as shear strength, tensile strength of the ASR-affected concrete) where they have been changing their plans since the inspection.

I sent the half-page status you had requested in a separate email a little while ago.

Thanks.
