Dear Mr. OConnor:
This letter is to inform you that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will conduct a Category 3 public meeting/open house at 4:00 p.m. CDT on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at the Monticello Library located at 200 West 6th Street, Monticello, MN 55362. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an open public forum for the Agency to discuss NRC activities and nuclear power issues with the public. In addition, members of the NRC will be available to discuss the assessment of Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant performance. Northern States Power Company is encouraged to attend this meeting.
