1 The reactor has reached its projected life and components are clearly vulnerable to aging and damage:

2. There are over 1500 tons of waste nuclear material. and this will be steadily increasing if theplant stays open. This huge amount of very dangerous material is poorly protected from natural disasters (e.g. Fukushima).

terrorism and accidents:

3. Some 10 to 12.000.000 people live downwind froom this plant, and any major accident would lead to the worst possible nuclear disaster, more severe than Chernobyl.
