Dear Mr. Kline:
By letter dated May 15, 2012, the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) provided NEI 06-06, Revision 6, Fitness for Duty Program Guidance for New Nuclear Power Plant Construction Sites, for review and endorsement. Your letter and NEI 06-06 can be accessed through the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs) Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession No. ML121360681.
You stated that this most recent revision incorporated staff comments provided to you during a public meeting conducted by the NRC on November 5, 2011 (ADAMS Accession No. ML112930149). This public meeting reviewed the draft version of Revision 6, which was dated November 2011.
We plan to complete our technical review of NEI 06-06, Revision 6, and provide comments to you in August 2012.
