ENDORSEMENT OF NUCLEAR ENERGY INSTITUTE 11-08, GUIDANCE ON SUBMITTING SECURITY PLAN CHANGES, REVISION 0, DATED JUNE 2012
Dear Mr. Kline:
I am responding to your letter dated June 7, 2012 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession Number ML121590522), in which you requested the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff to review and endorse Revision 0 of Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) 11-08, Guidance on Submitting Security Plan Changes, dated June 2012. Previously, the NRC staff reviewed and provided comments on NEI 11-08, Revision 0, dated December 2011, in a letter dated February 15, 2012 (ADAMS Accession Number ML120190329).
The staff has conducted a review of the document to ensure inclusion of prior NRC comments in NEI 11-08, dated June 2012. The enclosure document contains editorial/grammatical comments and two additional changes that must be included in NEI 11-08. Upon receipt of a version that includes the staffs changes, as noted in the enclosure, the NRC plans to endorse NEI 11-08, Revision 0.
