Re: Pictures for potential use in NRC Report-Request to Verify No Proprietary Information Mel - Davis-Besse personnel have reviewed the pictures and determined that none contain Proprietary Information.
However, we note that Picture No. 1 appears to be the identical picture posted to the Toledo Blade Newspaper's webpage at http://www.toledoblade.com/image/2012/02/28/800x600_b1_cCM/FirstEnergy-says-that-winddriven-rain-soaked-deep-into-the-concrete.jpg (this was already brought to the attention of Jim Neurauter who is on site today).
As we discussed on the telephone, Picture No. 3 shows the crack that was discovered as a result of the hydro-demolition process. It should be explained with this picture that the hydro-demolition process amplified the crack opening.
Picture No. 7 contained an incorrect date stamp (shows 10/26/2012 instead of 10/26/2011). The picture immediately below (S11-663.75-30-10.jpg) has a corrected date.
