FORTHCOMING MEETING WITH TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY (TVA)

DATE & TIME: Thursday, May 31, 2012 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

PURPOSE: This is a public meeting between NRC and TVA senior management regarding the flooding/hydrology licensing basis at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant. Unit 1, and Sequoyah Nuclear Plant.

LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)

1. The current status of work completed to resolve hydrology issues at WBN and SON, including discussion of:

A. The bounding flooding levels at WBN and SON.

B. Compensatory measures.

C. Discussion of sand baskets in place at selected dams

2. TVA's plans and schedule for accomplishing remaining work to resolve hydrology issues at WBN and SON.

A. Plans and schedule to submit licensing action requests to update the licensing basis for WBN* and SON.

B. Plans to implement permanent modifications at SON and WBN.

3. Coordination with Fukushima SO.S4(f) letter response.
