PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE LICENSEE: Omaha Public Power District (OPPD)
FACILITY: Fort Calhoun Station DOCKET: 50-285 DATE & TIME: May 31, 2012 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (CDT)
LOCATION: DoubleTree Hotel 1616 Dodge Street Omaha, Nebraska PURPOSE: The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will meet informally with the public to discuss the NRCs current regulatory oversight status of Fort Calhoun Station. No presentation will be made.
However, the NRC will respond to questions about Fort Calhoun Stations performance issues, and our role in ensuring plant safety.
CATEGORY: This is a Category 3 meeting. The NRC staff will hold an open house to answer questions from the public and discuss issues or concerns related to Fort Calhoun Station throughout the meeting.
