CONFIRMATION OF REVISION TO INITIAL OPERATOR LICENSE EXAMINATION: KEWAUNEE POWER STATION
Dear Mr. Heacock:
We have received your Letter 12-114, dated March 12, 2012, where you are requesting the initial May 2015 operator licensing examination at the Kewaunee Power Station be moved to August 2015.
In response, we have moved the initial operator licensing exam from the weeks of May 11 and 18, 2015, and rescheduled the examination for the weeks of August 3, and 10, 2015, at the Kewaunee Power Station. An on-site validation is scheduled for the week of July 13, 2015.
We understand that your staff will develop the examination. Because your corporate letter indicated that there were more than 12 candidates being considered for this examination, the examination was scheduled for two weeks. Please inform us if the number of candidates change for any examination as this will impact the examination schedule.
A supplementary letter will be sent to the training department approximately 120 days prior to the examination informing the training manager of the chief examiners name. The letter will also outline examination security expectations, list the materials required by the NRC to conduct the examination, reconfirm the examination date, and reconfirm the number of candidates you have in the training program.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.930 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publically Available Records System (PARS) component of NRCs Agencywide
