Dear Mr. Wells:
This letter is to inform you that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will conduct a Category 3 public meeting/open house from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. (CDT) on Thursday, April 26, 2012, in the City Council Chambers Room at the Palo Community Center in Palo, IA.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide an open public forum for the Agency to discuss NRC activities and nuclear power issues with the public. In addition, members of the NRC will be available to discuss the assessment of Duane Arnold Energy Center performance.
NextEra is encouraged to attend this meeting.
