REFERRING THE JONES RIVER WATERSHED ASSOCIATION PETITION TO INTERVENE AND REQUEST TO FILE NEW CONTENTIONS, OR IN THE ALTERNATIVE, JONES RIVER WATERSHED ASSOCIATION AND PILGRIM WATCH MOTION TO REOPEN THE PILGRIM NUCLEAR POWER STATION, DOCKET NO. 50-293-LR PROCEEDING On March 8, 2012, the Jones River Watershed Association filed a Petition for Leave to Intervene and Request to file new contentions, or in the alternative, the petitioner and Pilgrim Watch Motion to Reopen the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station, Docket 50-293-LR proceeding, and request for hearing. The petitioner filed a correction and supplement to its petition on March 15, 2012. The Commission has requested that the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board issue a decision on this request for hearing and motion to reopen the proceeding as expeditiously as possible, but no later than 60 days from the date of this referral.

The hearing request and supporting documents are located in ADAMS and in the EHD as package (ML12068A177). The correction and supplement to the petition, and corresponding certificates of service are located in ADAMS and in the EHD as package (ML12075A028) and as package (ML12075A081).

This request for hearing, motion to reopen, and supporting documents are being referred to you for appropriate action in accordance with 10 C.F.R. §2.346(i). This referral is being served on the E-Filing service list for the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station, Docket No. 50-293-LR as well as those on the cc: list below:
