RE: Environmental Impact Review for Indian Point Operating Licenses - Docket Nos. 50-247-LR/50-286-LR

Dear Sherwin:

Thank you for your email, and we understand that you are working on the NRC Staff prefiled submissions this week.

With respect to you request about forwarding the request on to the NRC NEPA Staff, we forwarded the electronic document to the "IndianPoint.EIS@nrc.gov" address as well as to the Chief of the Rules Branch, currently Ms. Cindy Bladey (Cindy.Bladey@nrc.gov). I believe both those addresses were identified as the contact points for submissions. I trust that this closes the circle on this point.

Thank you, John From: Sherwin Turk [2]

RE: Environmental Impact Review for Indian Point Operating Licenses - Docket Nos. 50-247-LR/50-286-LR John -

As you can imagine, were quite busy this week, preparing to file our evidentiary submissions in the Indian Point proceeding. In my quick read of your letter, I noted that you are requesting that the NRC issue a supplement to the Indian Point FSEIS to address the matters discussed in your letter.

As you know, I represent the NRC Staff in the adjudicatory proceeding. I am not the official you need to contact if you want an environmental impact statement to be supplemented. To be sure that your letter is properly addressed, please redirect your concerns to the appropriate NRC official, as listed in the FSEIS.

Thank you.
