On December 31 ,2011, the NRC staff completed its annual inspection of the EmergencyPreparedness Program at Indian Point Energy Center. This inspection began onJanuary 1,2011. lssuance of this lettercloses Inspection Reports 0500024712011501 and05000286/2011501. Inspection activities charged to these reports include conducting mid-cycle/end of cycle assessment activities, responding to technical questions from residentinspectors or licensee personnel, and, in some cases, performing traditional enforcementactivities. Any observations and findings in this area were provided to you via separatecorrespondence.In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter, and yourresponse, if any, will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC PublicDocument Room or from the Publicly Available Records System (PARS) component of NRC'sAgencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS), accessible from the NRCWeb site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
